Core Drilling
IOTA provides core drilling – a fast, accurate and clean way to drill holes in concrete for demolition works or to fine-tunes the concrete structure to accommodate conveniences like phone lines, plumbing, HVAC ducting, sprinkler systems and others.
The concrete coring drill is mounted on the rotating shaft of a concrete core-drilling machine and is secured to the wall or floor in question. A solid cylindrical concrete core or “slug” is removed from the hole once the drilling is complete.
- Minimal Dust – minimal dust is produced when core drilling is performed.
- Minimal Noise – Core drilling produces very little noise. The method is therefore ideal for applications where noise pollution is a concern i.e. in occupied buildings, residential areas, hospitals, schools and office buildings etc.
- Ideal for Restricted Spaces- Core drilling can be carried out using automatic feed systems, making it the best option for working within confined space environments.
